On October 14, 2025, Ecotron participated in the conference organized by Revista Ecologic, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, on the occasion of the International E-Waste Day (WEEE) – an important moment of reflection and dialogue for the entire sector.
The event brought together key stakeholders from the field: public authorities, collective compliance schemes (PROs), industry representatives and experts concerned with the future of proper waste management. Ecotron supported the organization of this conference and actively contributed to discussions on essential topics for both the present and the future: current dysfunctions within the national collection system, the new European Right to Repair Directive, and the mechanisms needed to accelerate the transition toward a circular economy in Romania.
For Ecotron, participation in such initiatives is not merely a one-time gesture, but part of a broader vision: promoting an operational model grounded in transparency, responsibility and sustainable performance, through continuous dialogue between the public and private sectors.
We believe that meaningful solutions emerge only where there is openness, cooperation and shared commitment.
Only through collaboration can we transform the industry’s challenges into opportunities for the future.
